How to Start Live Streaming

Live streaming can be a complicated skill/hobby to pick up at first, but with a bit of practice, you will be able to get it down. After you go through the set up process once, you are pretty much good to go for all your future live streams.

1. Create an account with the streaming platform of your choice, such as YouTube, Kick, or Twitch
2. Download OBS or StreamLabs (both are great)
3. Go to your stream settings on your platform of choice (YT, Kick, Or Twitch) Not OBS Yet** and get your Stream Key and Stream URL

4. Plug those keys into OBS, and you’re ready to create your scenes.
5. Make sure to also go into your streaming platform account and title your upcoming stream accordingly
6. You will have to manually add your video camera, mic, and screens to your scene so people can see them.
